Which plants are suitable for cultivation in the CLOSETLAB Uno?
Urban Farming - Vegetables & Herbs
Thanks to the high light intensity (PPFD), fruit-bearing plants thrive exceptionally well.
The integrated activated carbon filter reliably neutralizes strong odors (e.g., during flowering or ripening chilies), so the cabinet can easily be placed in the living area.
Chili peppers & bell peppers
Particularly compact varieties such as Habanero or Thai Chili benefit from the warmth and light spectrum.
tomatoes
Choose bush or balcony tomatoes; dwarf varieties are best. Indeterminate tomatoes will grow too tall.
Herbs
Mediterranean herbs such as basil, rosemary, or thyme develop very intense aromas under the LED.
Cannabis cultivation according to KCanG
The system is ideally suited for home cultivation, provided you pay attention to the plant height.
Preferably choose compact photoperiod varieties.
Autoflowering varieties are also very well suited due to their compact stature and speed.
We recommend growing methods such as LST (Low Stress Training) or SCROG (Screen of Green) - these methods limit the height and make optimal use of the planting space.
Is CLOSETLAB CanG compliant?
Yes.
The Consumer Cannabis Act (KCanG) explicitly requires private growers to take “suitable measures and security precautions” to protect cannabis from access by third parties – especially children and adolescents (§ 10 KCanG).
The CLOSETLAB Uno was specifically developed to meet these requirements through a multi-stage security concept:
- Physical access control
Unlike fabric tents, our system transforms a solid wooden frame into a safe. The package includes two special bolt locks for furniture, which are installed at the top and bottom of the door. This mechanically locks the door securely to the frame, preventing forced entry without a key. - Odor neutralization
An industrial activated carbon filter cleans the exhaust air before it leaves the cabinet. Because the system operates under negative pressure, no odor molecules can escape, preventing third parties from being alerted to the growing operation by smell. - Visual discretion
By integrating the cabinet into a neutral piece of furniture, its purpose is not apparent from the outside. There is no visible equipment and no stray light. - Yield control
The system's performance and capacity are specifically tailored to private use. With the 100W LED and the limited growing space, you can achieve realistic yields of approximately 50g per cycle. This amount allows you to comply with current legal limits of 50g of dry matter per adult without producing critical excess quantities.
By properly assembling and locking the door, you fully comply with your legal obligation to ensure access control.
Where are CLOSETLAB components manufactured?
Development, design, and quality control take place at our headquarters in Munich . We source our components through a network of manufacturers in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland ) and international partners . We rely on proven brand quality and strict EU standards. We are continuously working to further increase the proportion of local suppliers.
How do shipping and returns work?
We ship discreetly packaged and free of charge via DHL . Your order is usually ready to ship within 1-2 days . You have a statutory right of return, and return shipping is also free of charge.
Please note, however: Once the system has been set up and put into operation (especially the activated carbon filter), returns are often restricted for hygiene reasons, unless there is a technical defect. We will, of course, replace defective components (e.g., LEDs) under warranty.
